His hair falls short and long depending on where it lays. With a shaggy yet straight formation, his hair spills across his brow, sometimes cutting in front of his eyes at every odd point of time, yet it never passes the bridge of his nose. To the touch, it's texture is smooth, soft, and it yields with pressure. It is layered deceptively thick, as its weight holds itself down. His eyes are two volatile drops of color that sit in his skull. His eyes are touched over with a soft amber color. Their hue shifts from dark amber to phosphorescent yellow depending on his mood or his energy. At times they can seem acidic in anger or glowing in energy, or both in an induced state of adrenaline. A nose that juts forward in a straightened point, it sprouts seamlessly from his facial structure and boasts of how proud Alexander is. His mouth, formed of coral lips meeting in an air tight seal. Power: Hemomancy: The user of this power becomes able to manipulate blood that is either his own, or foreign blood within a small distance of the user (exposed). The blood can be used for any purpose as long as the user has sufficient blood to fulfill said purpose. Beyond this, the user can with great energy expended convert a section of their own body to blood, to avoid fatal wounds or for whatever reason. In addition the user is able to change the types of blood subconsciously in order to accept it from foreign sources. HISTORY Alexander Harding Brand was born in the evening of a crescent moon on a autumn night. On the eve of November Third, one rogue father and one empowered mother gave birth to a healthy baby boy with amber eyes that lit up the night. Alexander's parents were to a point parents, they fed him, clothed him, and even taught him. His parents, however, were not quite normal. There was a reason his father was a rogue, and it was a reason that would consume Alexander's life His father, also dubbed Alexander, was a practitioner of a forbidden magic that he had an unholy talent for. It was blood magic, hemomancy, taboo arts. His father, though the details are hazy where as Alexander's memories are concerned, was ousted or exiled from his original place of staying. At some point he met his mother, an empowered, though whether she attended a formal institute of practice for "powers" or if she was simply gifted and unmarked by crime is unknown, and they came together as a romantic couple with the knowledge of the father's past unknown. As years passed, Alexander was raised on the move, never quite knowing one true home or having the luxury of being raised for more than a small portion of his life under one particular roof. He grew up straight, not quite in the liking of his father nor his mother, but showing characteristics of both of them in small amounts. He had the color of his mother's hair, and the height and general bone structure of his father. His eyes and attitude, however, seemed to branch off in a different direction. Eventually, as years passed Alexander grew to an age where he could be independent. His parents began to teach him more advanced learning materials, arithmetic, higher vocabulary, what they knew in a sense. It was during this time that the truth about Alexander's father was revealed, His father, during travels had gone foraging and had returned with the carcass of a deer, with a sickening black leg. At first Alexander had thought that his father had caught a diseased deer, but upon further explanation it was figured to be a snake bite. Alexander watched his father set the deer down, hold his hand over the wound and a black viscous liquid tinged with red shot out. His father had controlled the blood in the deer. Over time, his father taught him everything he knew about this art. As years passed his parents began to put restrictions on the amount of this, previously taboo art (society became more accepting of magic as the populous began to produce more empowered humans, as Alexander had begun to use it liberally. Eventually they saw fit to enroll him in an institution that reformed and trained students to become empowered, despite his age being slightly more advanced and his talent raw, they felt it was necessary before he got out of control.
