ALINARI ACADEMY FOR THE EMPOWERED
Alinari Academy for the Empowered was founded in 1977 by Giulio Alinari. The Clara Hall was built and dedicated to Giulio Alinari’s wife, Clara. Its primary purpose was to provide a learning facility for the empowered children as well as a safe haven. At the time, empowered were still being shunned and watched for being different. The academy at first started out as just a school that put its time and effort towards helping students with their powers. It was at a later date that they decided to add on to the school and provide students with regular classes too. As the years passed, the other two buildings were added to the campus for the students to train themselves and focus on some majors. The school consists of 4 buildings that are dedicated to the purpose of educating the students and 3 buildings apart from that are to feed, shelter and allow the students to study. It offers the students who may not be in high school any more the chance to get their diploma through studies at the school and the same goes for with college students. This is so that if they want to further their education after graduating from Alinari then they can. While the school provides dorms for the students to live in they are also permitted to live off campus in the apartment building nearby. The campus is also pretty much strictly an English one seeing as it is a major language and the students come from all over the world. They are allowed to speak any number of languages that they may know but English is the official language of the school. There is a uniform that is specific to Alinari but it is optional to wear. The school’s mascot is the badger and the current headmaster is Valerio Caruso.
