We are a literate roleplay that takes place far in the future. The world has accepted the idea of the empowered but others still have their ill opinions about them. They point at the empowered and their school to place the blame for the rogues and their monsters. Countries have fallen apart though not at the fault of the rogues but at their own accord while others have picked up their pieces. Become a student and learn about your powers or be a teacher to teach your knowledge. Keep the world safe for the younger empowered and the humans who can't defend themselves.

You'll have to do this eventually." A loud, choked shout came from behind her.
The blonde snuck a quick look over her right shoulder and childishly blew a raspberry at the angel in white. The old hag had been hot on her trail for at least a whole hour now, following her from building to building, floor to floor, chasing her all over the campus like a fucking plague. And now they were right where they started, the main building, or more precisely the rooftop but psshhh details.
She made a mad dash towards the corner of the building after slamming the door shut, reeling around in a low crouch and letting the friction between the concrete and her heels to stop her from slipping over the edge, even if just barely. She straightened herself up, huffing slightly from all the exercise as she peer at the nurse from under the pair of pale lashes, then slowly backed up on the raised brick platform behind her. Capricia noticed a look of panic on her face as she did so.
"Ple-please Miss.Giovanni, I don't, don't want to do this the hard way!" Standing mere meters away the nurse pleaded with heavy breaths, clutching both knees to keep her from dropping on the ground. "Just step down from there and come with me."
"Nuh-uh," Capricia shook her head with determination, "no way in fucking hell you're getting me willingly." She retorted. Shit, this woman was way better at this than she had expected. And here she thought that nurses were suppose to just stand there and look pretty while the doctors do their thing. Well you know what they say, when God closes a door he opens a doggy door, or window, whichever. At least she got one thing going on for her.
Azure eyes narrowed as Capricia noticed the older woman pulling something vaguely similar to a small handgun. "So the hard way it is," she could hear her mutter before pointing the weapon forward with shaky arms. A gun, for her? She was shocked. Does these people do no research before sending someone to catch her? Capricia waited till she heard the gunshot being fired before deploying her ability detecting its metal component and slowing the bullet, or what she thought was a bullet. What she caught between her fingers was in fact, a tranq dart.
"Oh you've got to be joking." If the handgun bit didn't do it for her, this second part had to be the punch line that got her throwing her head back in echoing laughter. Actually Capricia didn't know if she should be amused or feel insulted. What did she think she was, a fucking wild animal? She twisted the dart between her fingers before sending it flying to the nurse with a jerk of her wrist. The needle sank deep into her right thigh and the liquid slowly disappeared from the cylinder. The woman staggered a little bit, eyes glazed over, before dropping to the ground like a fallen leaf.
Dumb ass.
Glossed lips tugged into a triumphant smirk as she crossed her arms. Capricia walked over to the motionless body and gave it a couple not-so-gentle kicks on the side. Good, dead as a log. "Sweet dreams, sleeping beauty." She whispered under her breath. The sun was already setting, and Capricia could feel her stomach complaining. It'd be a good idea to go get some food before someone else finds her.
But it seems like luck just wasn't on her side today. A creak entered her ear and Capricia could hear another set of footsteps entering the roof. Another one, and so soon? Now this was just getting on her nerves.
Capricia groaned madly in frustration and snapped her head towards the stairs around five meters on her right. "Are you kidding me?" She rolled her eyes at whoever else the doctor sent to get her, or at least she assumed that was who it was. "Seriously people, what part of 'I don't need a fucking flu shot' don't you get! I still haven't eaten dinner yet dammit."
The day had been relatively quiet. Detention wouldn't start until later this week and Alastor was absolutely bored out of his mind, completely. There was no one to poke at and make fun of and most students were doing their own thing at this point. Well, there was one person that was always usually right where she was during the day. Yes, the nurse. Now, she was older, sure, and she always got flustered by Alastor and his rather weird humor, but wouldn't anyone? Why, he was quite familiar with her actually. When Alastor first came to this school officially with Valerio when he was finally worthy of being Head Master, he finally agreed to get some tests done to further explain his 'inner workings' you could say. There were plenty of surprises sure, the fact that it was an utter mystery why traces of hormones, remnants of Adrenaline no doubt, were always present in his system, even while he slept which was highly unusual.
But he was a monster, since when was anything about him normal.
He stepped into the Nurse's Office, but didn't find the woman in there at all. The tall Alastor quietly exhaled in boredom. He was always present for his shots, hell he even taunted her in giving him larger doses just to see what would happen. Or the fact he told her that getting an injection was hot, but only if she stabbed the needle a bit more roughly. She obviously took that with a grain of salt and had been scared of him ever since. It's not normal for a man to stare at you with anticipation for the needle to go into his flesh, with a dastardly grin no less. Ah, that made him grin, but it was short lived once he came back to reality since she wasn't here to discuss 'Health topics' and things. He began to walk out, but heard protests and running. He peeked his head out, seeing the familiar uniform of the nurse and a girl that...oh.
Oh he had heard of her. The blonde that talked about him in class often. A lot of the detention upstarts talked about her since they'd be faced with the very man she kept smirking about often. They acted like he didn't hear him, ah, but now he could finally meet her and see what the whole deal was about. It was cute, yeah, but he just couldn't resist finding out for himself. "I'm blaming my curiosity for this one." And the fact he heard she had a great pair, that's also a similar predicament. Student or not, some of these kids are old enough to do whatever the hell they want legally.
So, Alastor followed, his heavy boots calm in their sounds on the floor of the High School. Seems as if he caught them straight at the climax of the story, up the stairs to the roof. He could hear some kicking, and his interest grew. He opened the door, finding her standing over the now knocked out body of the nurse. His first thought was that she was dead, ah but no, it's likely the girl would be freaking out if that were the case...rebel or not. He did burst out laughing at the sight though, the evening now filled with his deep laughter. He clapped, amused incredibly. "Well, I followed through the story, and this is one ending I'm not horribly disappointed with!" He grinned, reaching down and plucking the needle from the woman's thigh. Because of how roughly it was inserted, there was blood on it and he casually dragged his tongue along it and crushed the product in his white gloved hand before it was merely dust in the wind.
"Hm, AB." He recounted, though laughed at what the girl had said. "I'm not here to give you a shot of anything, or maybe you like bullets in your body. ...then I could, but the Head Master, being the Queen Bitch he is, would chastise me for it." It was her lucky day of course! The sunset and the light coming from it reflected from his tinted spectacles. You couldn't see the red of his eyes, but most wouldn't want to. His eyes inspected her regardless though. He made a small inner grunt of approval.

Instead of just another staff from the infirmary, her persuer was no other than the demon guardian of Alinari himself. Capricia found herself staring as he licked off the blood from the needle, her lips tugged into a smirk, watching the dart pulverized by a simple gesture of his hand. His display of strength was nothing short of impressive, although Capricia knew that hand was capable of so much more. But still, it was relieving to know that he didn't came her to drag her to the doctors. As much trust as she had in her ability Capricia still didn't like the idea of taking on Alastor, unless it was for her own entertainment of course. Never walk in a battle you know you're not gonna win. She wasn't as dumb as most people peg her for.
"Now ain't that a shame." She approached the intruder in lazy strides, "I just might enjoy having a bullet in me if it comes from you, or y'know, it doesn't have to be a bullet." Capricia halted a step before the guardian and peered up at him with halflit eyes. "I'm Capricia, by the way. But you probably already knew that much. A pleasure to officially meet you, Mister Alastor." She picked up the corners of her imaginary dress, curtsying jokingly before straightening up again.
The unconscious nurse behind them was long forgotten by the blonde, with all her attention given to the man. Excitement, anticipation filled her mind. Just being close to him made the Italian felt like she was on this incredible high. Fuck, she felt like a little girl. She took a long breath before raising her chin, pouting with disappointment when her eyes were met by a pair of shades. "Why the glasses when the sun's already going down?" She inquired with a tilt of the head. The pair of spectacles felt more troublesome the more she looked at it. The whole mysterious man theme was kind of cool, but she didn't think he'd need it.
Capricia lifted her hands to both sides of his face and picked up the spectacle its legs, before carefully taking the item off. "Here, now you can see me better." She grinned, placing it on the top of her head instead before crossing her arms again.

[style=height: 285px; font-family: tahoma; font-size: 9px; line-height: 9px; text-align: justify; color: dedede; padding: 15px; overflow: auto;]Valerio was glad for this day right here. It had to be the best day ever. Why? Because he didn't have much of anything to do and that was great to him. That had meant he'd be able to take naps throughout the day with no problem. He just adored the days that he could do nothing more but lay about and sleep. He was just as lazy as he always was.
Not having much of anything to do was always a rare thing for him so he liked to enjoy it as much as he could. He spent a majority of the day napping in his office on the couch. If any of the teachers or students needed something they'd have to wake him up and he disliked it. He was kind of a grumpy bear when that happened too. Most people tended to avoid trying to wake him up waiting until later to bother him. Who would want to go through all the trouble of him being grumpy? That was a good question.
It seemed that the doctor in the infirmary did. He had been sneaky about it though because he sent one of his nurses instead. The young nurse stood there tapping his shoulder and calling out his name as she tried to wake him up. It was a long process having made her stand there for at least 5 minutes trying to wake him up. His brown eye shot open and glared at the brunette female. It seemed he scared her when he did so as she squeaked and backed away a tiny bit. He noticed this as he sat up and sighed heavily. He hadn't meant to scare her after all.
"What is it?" He asked her as he dragged his hand through his hair.
"The...the doctor sent me to tell you were are having trouble with a student, Sir." She responded meekly looking down at the ground.
"Which one and what'd they do?"
"Capricia Giovanni. She won't let us give her a flu shot."
"Capricia again? Wait over a flu shot? Does she even need it?"
"W-well, we thought it was best to prevent it for the students."
"That is a terrible thing to make mandatory. Do you know where she is?" Valerio asked as he got up from the couch and started to move around. He was wearing one of his kimonos since it was one of his lazy days. He adjusted it and stifled a yawn as he didn't want to seem rude to her. He had already scared her after all and he didn't want her having another reason for being weary of him. "Y-yes sir. I'll tell the doctor that you disapprove of the flu shot being mandatory and no sir." She appeared to not be lying so that meant he'd have to go on an adventure to find her. He nodded at the brunette and started his way out of his office.
Capricia wasn't in trouble for not wanting to have a flu shot though. He was on his way to find her and tell her not to run away anymore. She was a trouble student usually but this was just something that had gotten a bit out of hand. He didn't get the details or bother getting them to know what exactly had happened but she had a right to do whatever it was. Needles were something nasty and requiring a mandatory flu shot sounded down right dreadful. He wandered about the hallways as he tried to find the girl and her other pursuer. It didn't feel like he was going to find them anytime soon so he stopped a few people walking down the hallway to ask them.
"Capricia? I think I saw her head up to the roof with a nurse following after her." That was all he needed and he thanked the student who had saw them run up to the roof. That was the end of the line for Capricia. He hoped though that he wouldn't make it up to the roof late. He wasn't sure how he would make it up to her if she had already gotten the shot but then again she'd be safe from getting the flu. He found the staircase to the roof and as he was just about to reach the door at the top he heard the sound of a familiar laugh.
Alastor had went up to the roof or was up there again. That would make this interact a lot more fun; maybe. He just continued on up the stairs and to get it over with. He might be able to return to his nap if he made it quick even if the sky as changing into its evening mode. One would probably say that naps consumed his life but he didn't care. Sleep was very important after all. He stepped onto the cool rooftop flooring just as Capricia had approached Alastor and removed his glasses stating something about being able to see her better. He sighed heavily; that's just weird. He walked over to the two at a slow pace and stopped when he was by Alastor.
"Careful Miss Giovanni. He might bite." Valerio said as he addressed Capricia cracking a half smile at her.
As he peered around Capricia's small, lithe form he could make out what looked like a nurse's body lying on the roof. He had been a little curious about her pursuer when he didn't see her standing or hear her speaking. It was the older nurse that had decided to chase after her and try to make her get the flu shot. From the looks of it she wasn't dead but just out cold, which he assumed from the gun lying by her body. Tranquilizing gun for the more unruly patients? That was a bit extreme especially since it was just a flu shot not like she was dying or anything. Then again if she were dying should wouldn't be able to protest so much. He'd be sure to head to the medical wing when he left the roof. Perhaps Capricia did need a punishment for drugging the nurse but then again it had been her fault.
"Managed to get away from certain doom I see." Valerio said with a chuckle as he looked back at the female student. "Never did like how persistent they were with flu shots."
Alastor was pretty amused by this girl, yes, that was a good word to use. She approached him, lazily he might add, but also comfortable, and spoke of things that some girls in this school would likely cringe and find morally invasive. "Spoken like a Class A Whore." His tone was lax, just as much as her movements as she looked up at him and tried peering past his tilted spectacles. She introduced herself as Capricia, and he immediately recognized the name. He didn't really know why he thought of Captain America first, but Cap seemed like a nickname he could get behind for her whenever she wants to talk or God knows what else. She curtsied for him and he huffed, his eyes rolling gently behind his spectacles at her behavior. She must be trying too hard to stand out for him. Alastor followed her gaze and that look of pure disappointment upon her face. He didn't flinch or move when her hands rose and relinquished his tinted glasses from his person to reveal his eyes.
She would be greeted by the sight of blood red eyes, dusted with black eyelashes that were as dark as his hair. "Congratulations, you found me." He smirked, again, amused by this little blonde human's behavior. Females of this species were so varied that he really lost track of all possible quirks they could have, but he knew that every one of them was funny to watch even those insufferable, overly happy types that wished good upon everyone.
Before he could answer her question on why he wore glasses in the first place like those, Valerio managed to come up and sigh heavily at the girls behavior before speaking things about him biting people. Oh, that was a hoot. "Witty, coming from the man wearing incredibly unfitting clothes that belong as a hung up curtain." Without his glasses, Alastor's eyes freely roamed about, and he knew that Valerio would take note of the unconscious nurse lying on the floor.
"I'm pretty sure you were expecting a dead body or two up here from me, but I'm pretty sure that if I decided to eat this little tart she'd taste like spent semen and condoms." Of course, if it were the nurse, she'd probably taste just as bad. Ew, hospital food. He laughed at the flu thing though. "I pity you both. I love shots of all kinds. Should see how enthusiastic I get getting mine done and just staring at them the entire time. ...shame they never give me a lollipop." He licked his lips, but turned his gaze to the front of the school for the moment.
"Ohhh..." He could hear a lot of commotion at the front gate and laughter and Alastor shook his head and swiped his spectacles from the girls head to put back on. "Looks like there is some commotion going on that I haven't been invited to. ...what a fucking travesty that is." He chuckled deeply at this and looked at Valerio. The culprit finally showed itself, one man with a bit of technology under his belt, no doubt and he was grinning, oh yes, he didn't register as a normal human being. A rogue perhaps? "Lab Experiment Number 46532A, Alastor, one of our finest achievements, and you're considered stolen property. I was instructed to bring you back...hah, you do remember me don't you?" The man smirked, but Alastor wasn't really catching on to this. He pursed his lips for a moment in thought.
"Mmm, ah, no not really. Sorry, but whenever I forget things they're either insignificant, stupid, or both and you qualify for bot of those descriptions. You're going to have to stroke my brain shaft a bit before it can produce the results you want." This made the man a bit angry. "All this time and-"
"Hm, time, yes, you've jogged something in my memory. Wait a moment." He turned to Valerio. "Val, what time is it? I distinctly remember that a lot of my favorite programming is on today, so I really shouldn't be late. I really needed to record that one live special of this doctor performing brain surgery on this desperate little seven year old boy with the massive tumor. ...messing up would make my day completely..."
"Excuse me, but I'm not finished talking!"
"Shhh..." Alastor's white gloved finger waved, not even bothering to look at the Rogue. "Papa's busy talking." He scolded lightly, uncaring in what the man had to say to him. In retaliation, he pressed a button that short circuited the generator in the building, causing everything to flicker and then the power went completely out. This definitely gotten his attention as he slowly looked back at the man, smirking his little ass off with how smug and proud he felt. "That'll teach you monster scum, always thinking you're entitled for things when we made you...hmph. I'm trying to have a decent conversation and reminiscing and you-"
"See, now, I'm going to have to stop you there, sir." Alastor cleared his throat quietly. "I'm not exactly one to be mannerly when some little shit wearing James Bond's stolen tech gear strolls into my territory and shuts off all the power which makes me unable to watch my favorite programming. ...so you know what I'm more inclined to feel instead of courteous and cordial?" One of the lens on his spectacles began to crack, obviously responding to more of his psychic energy than anything else that was beginning to rise. "...anger. I'm pretty fucking pissed." His grin grew wide as he took out one of his guns and pointed it at the man.
"Val, be a good sport and release this collar from me. Now usually to save face with you I shoot them dead, but this one...oh, this one..." He glasses slipped from the bridge of his nose as he hunched forward a little. "I want to go nice, slow...and painful...let me have some real fun in awhile..." He let out a deep, brief growl, as if he was about ready to snarl, but he was quaking with anticipation.

Capricia shifted her weight entirely on her right foot.
A comment that would be deemed offensive, even degrading to most woman was easily brushed off with a roll of her eyes. Please, those bitches had nothing on her. And she had seen plenty to say that with confidence. Capricia spent a good chunk of her childhood on the road, travelling from country to country with her parents, and given the nature of their occupation they couldn't always spend their time in fancy hotels as much as they would've liked that. Governments and their competitions were always lurking about somewhere.
Of course some deals would be fine to make public, if with the military and the like, but a lot of them were still held in secrecy to avoid prying eyes. It was during times like that Capricia acquainted herself with the sumptuous world of brothels. Because apparently, their parents thought it was perfectly normal to just leave a pair of underage children - she couldn't be over five at that time, and her brother in his early teens - in a whorehouse and let the whores babysit them. Capricia had to admit some of them did have style and was probably worthwhile to keep around - just for entertainment, of course - but the majority that built up this trade were nothing more than trapped, soulless sex toys who had lost their fire. It was almost sad when you think about it. Almost.
Her grin only grew bigger at the man's remark. His eyes were gorgeous, just like she expected. They briefly reminded Capricia of a pigeon blood red ruby she had seen before, an ominous shade of red so fitting that she wouldn't be able to imagine them in any other color.
People always say that eyes were the windows to the soul. The origin of the idea was questionable but Capricia kept it in mind nonetheless. She also vaguely remember somebody telling her that monsters have no soul, that they were merely creatures created in labs for the sole purpose of war. The name of that somebody slipped her mind but he or she was definitely wrong.
It seemed like Alastor was going to say more, before the headmaster suddenly appeared beside them and gave her a very under-appreciated warning. "Not like I wasn't counting on it..." She muttered under her breath, gliding her glance away before looking at the headmaster again.
Ugh, she should've known that pathetic doctor would take the problem to the headmaster. When would he learn to grow a pair and come get her himself if he so desperately want to stick a needle in her?
"This little tart thinks she would probably taste more like rum and strawberry." Her cheeks puffed in protest. She takes her personal hygiene very seriously okay! And what the fuck was she doing speaking in third person anyways...... Capricia snuck a glance on the ground. The nurse was still out cold on the ground, the way she should stay. "Certain doom?" She scoffed, clearly still grudging over the earlier chase, "she tried to shoot me with a fucking tranq dart! No amount of sugary goodness is gonna make up for that." Not like she'd even eat any lollipops from them in the first place. Who knows what they actually make those with? And of course her train of thought somehow traveled from candy to pizza.
Wasn't she going to go get food?
Capricia whined softly when the glasses were taken by its rightful owner. Damn, she was going to see if he'd forget and let her keep it. Then she noticed the appearance of yet another guy on the roof. Then he went on with some cliche villainous speech directed towards Alastor. Okay, so the guy seemed more like a minion than an actually villain if she had to be completely honest, and not a good one either even if he did manage to somehow cause a black out. She was sure it'd be back on pretty soon.
Although that did seem to successfully tick off the guardian. Hmm, tv junkie. Capricia made a mental note, hopefully one that would actually stick unlike the countless others.
She could feel the air thickening as the man requested - demanded? ordered? It was hard to tell since she was a little distracted by the growl - Valerio to take away the restraints. "Now this I don't want to miss~" Capricia mused, clearly enjoying this aggressiveness. After all how often does one get the chance to witness the demon guardian's battle up close, even if the eye-patched principal chose not to comply to his wish. Looks like her dinner plan had just been rescheduled. "Waiiiit a sec‘-" Blue eyes shot towards the intruder as Capricia suddenly remembered something. "Since when do rogues just waltz in Alinari now? What the fuck happened to all the other students?" Normally someone would've done something before the rogue got this far, unless...
Hands shot up, palms over her mouth as Capricia gasped dramatically when a new - and probably utterly absurd - possibility dawned on her. "THE FLU SHOTS! THEY WERE DRUGGED! IT ALL MAKES SO MUCH SENSE NOW-" She then pointed an accusing finger at the rogue, who looked as lost as a headless chicken at her sudden exclaim.
"Don't give me that face! You know exactly what I'm talking about!"
She knew those syringes were evil!
