Slender and lithe, smooth pale skin that appears to be absolutely flawless and soft despite the fact that she is rather tall, and as a result is not small.. Blonde hair that can reach down to just below her shoulder blades, is usually kept up in a ponytail or in a braided bun, her eyes are a striking emerald. Her body shape is rather pear shaped, her breasts are small if not average while her waist and hips are rather large in comparison but not too large that it looks unsightly. As a girl he likes rather girlish clothing which is surprising, truthfully, he will wear anything that is 'cute' and flatters his form. His favorites are lolita outfits as that appear just so cute. As a boy he is taller then his female counterpart, his blonde hair is short and rather scruffy. His eyes are still a beautiful shade of green. He is more muscular in this form then his other one, but that is given. Rather square shaped shoulders and toned muscles he has a rather healthy body for his age, coupled with his kind looking features he looks rather princely. In this form he doesn't have as many clothing as he does in his feminine form. Usually plain looking clothing like jeans or simple shirts compares to the extravagant ruffles of most of his girl clothing, mostly because to his words, 'men don't have cute clothing like girls do.' PERSONALITY As someone who can switch appearances, Maria acts different depending on which one he is. As a female he is rather bold and to say the least, girlish. She loves things that are cute and openly shows it, she's friendly and could come off a bubbly but despite that she never talks about herself and when they try to focus it on her she redirects it to something else. She was trained when she was very young in the art of swordsmanship and carries herself with the air of someone proud and confident, one could even say she's a little too confident in her fighting abilities. If anything Maria loves attention, she loves to be in the spotlight if only briefly. She works at a maid cafe because it is actually really fun for her, sure its hard work, but she enjoys it greatly, she is feisty, not hesitating to put her foot down if need be. However she is rather different in her male form, in this form he is more quiet and reserved, usually more focused on his work then seeking out attention even though he really wants too. But he was taught that girls HAVE to act a certain way and boys can't be like that as well. Most of what he does in either forms is just an act, a show to hide who they really are, a feisty blond girl is considered cute, its expected, a feisty blond boy however is an asshole and is someone they shouldn't approach. In truth if one is to ask how he REALLY is, well things get a little complicated there. His love of cute things and attention is true, but so is his calmness and wanting to work, he is a nice person but he has these layers to hide behind that even he doesn't know, both sides are him, he knows that, but yet he can't stop acting so different between the genders. As it is, he spends more time in his female form because its as close as the 'real' him as he can get even though its only half of him. EXTRAS In combat class he usually wears unisex clothing so its not so surprising to see him larger with pecs instead of boobs, their also rather big on her as a result including her armor, as one that takes pride in her swordplay she is rather proud that no one has yet made her assume her male form which is physically stronger while her female form is faster. He can create and manipulate special hormones, that can manipulate various aspects of his body, the biggest one being of his gender which he frequently uses as each gender has its advantages, as a male he has a longer reach and more power behind his attacks, however he is rather slow and stiff, his female form while smaller, is fast and more flexible though it lacks power and endurance from her male half. However a huge hormonal fluctuation like that usually takes a day for them to settle before he can switch again. He could manipulate any hormone he like, could adjust his body temperature, pigmentation or even his emotional state, but as of right now he can only manipulate the hormones to change his gender and something he calls an 'Adrenaline shot'. It is by its name a boost of adrenaline that surges throughout his body for a brief period of time (2 posts), it allows him to keep fighting while basically ignoring any pain he has or will receive in the fight, however once the time limit is up all of the pain will come rushing back to him ten fold leaving him in a rather vulnerable state. HISTORY Maria was born as the proud son to a lovely English noble couple, he was basically born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Maria grew up with anything he could have desired alongside tedious training as the first male born son of their family. He had a lot of expectations to live up too, he was taught swordsmanship, piano, etiquette, history, multiple languages, proper behavior, etc., etc. He was the next generation of knight to this family so only the finest was for him, he really didn't think these lessons were strange, his parents didn't let him interact with other children his age, out of anything, he had his dog, Sebastian, the only soul that would play with him. But he did notice that all the treatment he was getting was odd after his little sister was born. Everyone was abuzz with her arrival and Maria himself was thrilled, but as the years went by he noticed that she didn't get the same treatment that he did. She was allowed to run around and play with her dolls while his stayed neatly tucked in a wooden truck for most of its days. Maria could have anything he could have possibly wanted...but that didn't mean he was lucky enough to use it. As wanting to have their siblings 'bond' they had an hour of playtime together and really Maria couldn't hate his baby sister, she was innocent and it wasn't her fault. He generally enjoyed their time together, that brief one hour before he was whisked away for more lessons. Language was the hardest for him as he often got a headache trying to learn German, Russian and French at the same time while still trying to grasp his own native language. Maria was twelve when his powers first appeared, his sister was wishing that she had an older sister so that they could wear dresses together, when Maria asked why they couldn't she responded with, “But you're a boy, and boys can't wear dresses.” It truthfully had shocked him, since he would always dress up with her regardless when she was younger, but now he was a boy, he couldn't wear dresses, even if he did like them. He remembered the scorn he had gotten when asking his father for a dress of his own how it was unfitting for a boy to want such an object. He had went to bed with a rather heavy heart, but he had awakened the next day to see his body had changed. Long hair, more round features and nothing in between his legs, he was a girl now! In his excitement he rushed to his sisters room in delight and woke her up, who shriek at seeing her now older sister and spent the last three hours playing with her. Their parents however, were less then pleased on the sudden change . They had taken Maria to the doctor who ran test after test before confirming that she was an Empowered and it seemed to get worse from there, they pulled a lot of strings to convince everyone that they had twins instead of just a boy and sometimes one or the other couldn't appear at social functions such as a ball or of that nature. While struggling with his powers, his lessons seemed to double focusing on the female aspects as well as male ones, but he was blessed at fourteen as he was sent to Alinari Academy to help hone his powers. For three years he had studied at this wonderful place, staying in his woman form for as long as he possibly can, no one knew him here, no one knew he was a male and he intended for it to stay that way, on summer vacations he would go home and back to the lessons though now at seventeen, they seem to have lightened up, even just for a little bit.
