Friends – Taika is fairly easy to make friends with, given you’re not a plain old human and can deal with a bit of rough housing. She’s friendly to a point where she sometimes trusts people she shouldn’t but it just doesn’t cross her mind that anybody would really be out to hurt her for whatever reason. Just making eye contact with her is enough to get her interested in you, and smiling at her just gives her the green light to wander over and strike up conversation, possibly crawling onto your shoulders or into your lap as she does so. Taika doesn’t really have a concept of what personal space is, so you may have to remind her that rubbing her face on your shoulder or kneading your arm is just a tad bit creepy. It really isn’t that hard to get her to like you, though, just beware because she may leave you gifts in the form of dead animals or human body parts on your doorstep.
Foes – While Taika may not consider anyone an enemy, there are certainly those that wouldn’t exactly like her. For one, she does love stalking and killing humans under cover of darkness which of course leaves angry loved ones behind. In addition, she’s also a spy albeit she’s not a very good one as she only reports in when she feels like it and more than likely forgets most of what she finds out. She has no concept of personal space, leaves dead animals and people lying everywhere, and can appear generally obnoxious in how stubborn she can be sometimes. When it comes to Taika disliking someone specifically, it’s fairly difficult. She doesn’t have a sense of danger, so it’s a wonder why curiosity hasn’t killed this cat, but she will remember if someone hurts her or someone she cares for. That’s a surefire way to set her off, and while she’s more than willing to forgive and forget, if it continues she’ll get angry and then you’ll see just how wild she can be.
Romance – Taika really doesn’t have a clue about what love even is. She certainly is capable of feeling it, but she doesn’t necessarily recognize it as such considering that anyone she’s been friends with for more than five minutes and generally puts up with her shenanigans could potentially fit under this category. However, if one were to repeatedly make it known that they’ve fallen for her in whatever way they see fit, she’d get it eventually and everything is hugs and purring from there on out ,really. Taika is possibly the most cuddlesome lover you’ve ever seen. She’s not clingy but when she’s around you she’ll do things any cat that adores you would do i.e. hugging, purring, trying to crawl into your lap, sitting way too close, interfering with whatever you’re doing to get your attention, etc. She can be a bit rough sometimes what with the claws and everything, but she means well. Love really isn’t something that Taika ever really thinks about, but if you can handle a few scratches here and there and her likely forgetting every anniversary ever, go for it. It’s your funeral.
