His skin is lightly tanned from all of his time out on the beach. His hair is a rather dark blue while shaggy and rough, his eyes are a dark brown. On his face, on the right side, he has a red colored tattoo on it, just above and below his eye, he didn't always have this tattoo, but rather got after the experiment that made him as he is. Clothing...well Lael doesn't have much, he's fond of long jackets with hoods because they keep him warm, a dirty button up shirt and black pants with some worn out shoes. However he has another form, in this form he grows huge, his body changes gaining bright blue scales, to most he looks like a dragon, a mythical creature. He has a hood-like crest on the back of his extended neck with a serpent head. He still has all for legs with claws and webbing to help him swim through the water with a flat tail. Transformed he is massive going up to 17 feet tall and 77 feet long. In this form he is clearly a water type of creature but can easily move and fight on land as well. PERSONALITY Lael is rather withdrawn and shy, but its not really out of choice. Lael keeps himself away from others to, in his eyes, protect him. He transforms into a huge monster and cannot control himself, everything is a target to him in this form and he hates it. Regardless he's usually on the beach as a result, the transformation occurs when he experiences high emotions, any kind of emotions, especially anger. Since he doesn't have a job he's known as the 'beach bum' of the area. Since of his condition he tries to stay far away from people as possible, trying to get them to leave him alone even transforming in front of them to show them how dangerous he really is, but despite that Lael is extremely lonely. He's been by himself, on the beach for three years now, just living off whatever his monster form eats while in the ocean. He is a gentlemen to others for whatever minimum contact that he has with them, but because he's so shy he often speaks softly unless he can feel his transformation coming and he will then raise his voice to get them to leave. He is also rather kind, but he holds no respect for himself, he sees himself as a monster, a danger to everyone, so he placed himself in this exile, seeing it as something that needs to be done. As a result he doesn't view himself as someone who's attractive nor someone that deserves to be saved. He has a rather soft spot to women and children, he often smiles more around them but still tries to keep his distance. Children are cute to him, watching them playing in the water and just fascinated with the sea in general. He sleeps in a hut far from the public area though some catch sight of him when he transforms and exits the water becoming a rather legend on the beach. It was an experiment with dinosaur DNA in the military that failed, while he can transform into the beast he has no consciousness, everything he does in this form he is running on animal instincts, everyone is an enemy and he will attack them all without hesitation. He has an armored hide to stop bullet fire, but heavy artillery will do damage to him. When he is transformed into this beast he will not transform back to his human form until he has basically burned himself out, and that can take quite a while. HISTORY Lael was born to a middle class family. He had a standard childhood, he was healthy, happy, had kind parents who raised him as best as they could, being stern with him but never raising a hand against him. He did his studies as best as he could, his grades always on the high side, much to his mother's excitement. His life as it were...was normal. He was kind to other students, even the class president and valedictorian. He was the head of multiple clubs and school activities, he was a busy man setting himself up for a great college application. He wanted to go to the rather well known in the city and go for a degree in business. When he graduated from Highschool he actually took two years off so that he may do his manditory year in the military and get some job experience on his profile; at the age of 21, applying and getting accepted into the desired university. He was however in his third year program when rumors of the war began spreading. He ignored it at first but when he got a letter requesting his attendance for war he couldn't ignore it. The war is something that Lael doesn't wish on anyone, the training was brutal, the environment they were in was harsh and unforgiving, he saw people break, he saw them kill, he saw them die. He didn't belong here but he very well couldn't leave, not with the duty to protect millions of lives from others, and that's when he government approached them. They had some empowered helping them in the war, but they wanted more power, the offer was to be experimented on to get similar powers and to be able to help end the war quicker. Lael volunteered alongside three other people. It was pure pain, it was like his body was being ripped apart and then reconstructed. Out of the four of them only one was successful...but it was Lael. He was considered a failed experiment, he could transform into this giant lizard like creature, but he had no consciousness with it, he attacked anyone and everyone, so he was used basically as a time bomb. He'd be dropped off in the center of the camp where he would transform and basically rip the place apart, he was also perfect for naval battle though that was more rough on him then land battle, most because of the sonar that could detect him. The war lasted for a year and a half before they could go home...but Lael could not. He was too unstable to be somewhere like the big city. When he found out that he was to remain in the lab he flipped, transforming and destroying a good portion of it before escaping into the sea. When he was aware of himself again he was on a beach, he tried going into the city but he fond what they said was true, he was too unstable to be around other people. He traveled from country to country before settling on a beach in Sicuro Italy. He wasn't sure why but this place...was so comforting, and he doesn't know why.
