Occupation: Despite seeming like a normal student that gets by on a "mysterious job", Rai's actual profession is as a hitman of rogues and/or their accompanying monsters. Basically put, she is hired for a negotiable sum to kill Rogues and/or their accompanying monsters that have been causing trouble for her clients. The time spent within this profession has gained her the title of "Ryoushi no Sakura", or "Cherry Blossom Hunter" for her pink features. APPEARANCE Height: 5'4" Weight: 120 lbs. Normal Outfit Cherry Blossom Hunter Outfit Let's begin with her physical features. The main things that stand out about Rai are her pink hair and matching pink eyes, her long hair worn in a twin set of pigtails with the first two hanging as frontal locks with a pair of red bows tied upon them and the last two hanging in the back left bare. Her skin is a gentle Asian shade, and she is exactly 162 centimeters (5’4”) in height and exactly 64 kilograms (120 lbs) in weight. Her nails are kept in a nice and neat shape, and her teeth are constantly whitened. She also has a well-developed bust at 38D. From her physical features alone, it’s safe to say that Rai is the kind of girl that cares about her appearance. But enough about her physical features, let’s get down into the nitty gritty of her twin attires. The first attire is probably her most common and the one she’s mostly seen wearing. This attire consists of her old school uniform which consists of a purple and white top with a large red bow in the chest area. A navy blue skirt, white sock pair pulled up to just below her knee and the kind of shoes that you might expect seen on a doll. Overall, this outfit is pretty normal and reminiscent of a sailor fuku. The kind of panties that she wears varies upon what she’s feeling, but it’s usually a pink pair that matches her hair and eyes. Is it obvious yet that this girl enjoys pink? Now to get to her second outfit… Her second outfit is the rarer one of the two, and is only worn whenever she is acting as the Cherry Blossom Hunter. This outfit consists of a dark green dress with a short light purple top worn over it, with black stockings worn all the way up to her mid-thigh effectively giving her a zettai ryouiki, with black dress shoes matching the stockings perfectly. She still wears the same pair of undergarments, and each piece of clothing in this entire is fashioned so that it is easier to move around acrobatically within. PERSONALITY There are two sides to every coin, and Rai is no exception to that rule. On the outside, Rai is a mostly normal girl with a penchant for being a tomboy. She isn’t afraid to get down and dirty with the boys, and has been known to do rude or otherwise disgusting things that you’d never see a girl do. Despite this nature she is very self-conscious about her appearance and if her appearance is insulted, expect her to attack you comically. This is also why, comically, she will spend hours upon hours trying to fix something as simple as a hair out of place or a broken nail which makes her late for almost everything in her life. Rai can also be seen as a clumsy sort, stumbling over her speech or tripping and falling like the ditz that she is. Most of the time it is fairly difficult for Rai to pick up on subtle things like sarcasm or flirtation, which means that she takes things literally… a lot. If you’re not being very clear with her then you might as well expect her to be completely confused when you try and get a proper response. This also makes her a victim of playful teasing, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t willing to be a playful tease back. She’s got something of a pranking streak as well, but who are the teachers more willing to believe: The “innocent” girl just standing there with a water balloon hidden from view, or the guy holding three water balloons in plain sight? One of the weirdest features about Rai is the fact that she can talk about anything relating to death normally. Suicide, homicide, genocide, these are all as normal topics to Rai as breathing. Classmates of hers in the Japanese junior high equivalent claimed that she had an odd aura around her, like just being in the same room as her would curse someone. Rai also loves standing out during thunderstorms and just letting her body get soaked, claiming that there is nothing else in this world that can calm her down more than the flash of lightning and pounding of the rain on her body. Of course this also means that she gets sick a lot more often than her fellow empowered beings, one of the main weaknesses that come with spending most of the years of her life out in storms. Rai has shown a protective streak of those that she lets get close to her, and will go so far as to use her power to force someone to back away from one of her loved ones if they decide to get too friendly or creepy up on them. Rai doesn’t limit her power usage to just offensive means however, and has used it to assist in her usual pranking nature. Think of how joy buzzers work, now imagine that coming to life with real electricity. Unfortunately for everyone around her, this ditzy, cheerful girl attitude is a complete act. This personality was simply created to cope with the traumatic events of Rai’s life and allowed her to stay a sane individual when in public. It is only when she acts as the Cherry Blossom Hunter and embraces her job as a hitman that her true personality comes to light. Rai is a merciless, sadistic, psychopath of a girl who wants nothing more but to harm and torture those around her. Whenever she is alone, Rai fantasizes about the many ways that she would be able to torture and harm those close to her. The worst part about all of this is that while the second personality (considered the “true” Rai) is completely away of the first’s existence, the other way around cannot be said. The “fake” Rai has said that she feels an odd presence lurking within her mind attempting to drag her down into the darkness, but she can’t explain it and fears this unknown entity. The only noticeable way to tell that one personality is in control as opposed to the other is in the manner of speech. Where the “fake” Rai uses honorifics, is generally polite and a tad bit naughty, the “true” Rai is crude, removes all honorifics, and talks in a much deeper tone than the other Rai. Plus, the “true” Rai has a habit of cursing, insane laughter, and vicious ways of speaking. When performing her job as a hitman, Rai will constantly stalk her target(s) before moving to action unless given a specific time limit in which to take out her enemies. COMBAT Strengths: + intelligent. + courageous. + durable. + risk taker. + speedy. Weaknesses: - merciless. - insane. - hand to hand combat. - easily angered. - below average strength. Power Strengths: + extremely effective against/through water. + can control existing lightning/electricity sources. + chance of paralyzing the enemy. + can ride on a created lightning bolt. + varying ranges. Power Weaknesses: - a large amount of water has a chance of causing the ability to short circuit. - any type of earth manipulation abilities. - must not be angered when utilizing or ability will go haywire. - useless against rubber or metal armor or abilities. - must find a source of electricity to recharge from daily. Power: Electrokinesis. Lightning Manipulation. Whatever you want to call it, the base result is still the same. Rai is able to manipulate electricity or pure lightning generated from the sky and direct it toward her opponents in a variety of ways. She has shown to be able to form limbs out of the electricity, or even weapons though she is unable to properly hold them and must use them akin to tendrils. Most of the time she prefers to attack in short spear-shaped bursts but she has a variety of other ways to manipulate it. Where the “fake” Rai will only utilize it in battle if she absolutely must and most of the time uses it for things such as joy buzzer pranks, the “true” Rai utilizes it whenever she feels like it and when she goes after her targets. Her preferred method of killing a target is first paralyzing them and then ripping each of their limbs off before forcing them to scream for mercy and finally ending their life after she has had her fill. Due to her obsession over the color pink, Rai’s lightning takes a pink color which may also have caused the Cherry Blossom Hunter nickname to arise. Due to working on her lightning manipulation at an early age, Rai has shown an exceptional skill due to constant training… but this is only when the “true” personality of Rai’s is in control. Whenever the “fake” personality is in control, Rai’s overall control over her ability is slim which is why she came to the academy in the first place. On a scale of 1-10, it could be said that the “fake” Rai’s control over the ability is 1, where the “true” Rai’s control is a solid 10.
