The Academy in Italy, a chance for a beginning for most and a possible new start for some of the others. For one young woman it was more a wake up call, Ai Nakamura, or rather Kira as she now called herself. She refusing to use her old name as she was not that person anymore, and it was someone she could never be again, a normal human being. A fact which often made Kira snarl in disgust at herself, each time she looked in the mirror at herself, doing all she could to not just slam her fist through the glass, shattering what little she has left of herself away. Life since the day her powers began to surface, the proof of her being an empowered now out in the light for herself, her life back in Japan had been hell, one of which nearly killed her. Although through another Empowered was she able to survive and with their guidance did she find herself here in this very Academy.
Currently able to be found out in the Courtyard of the Academy Grounds, sitting amongst the grass. Her back firmly planted against the thick bars of the fence which surrounded the campus. Wearing a simply black zip up hoodie which was currently open with the hood up over her head, she wearing a simple white tank top under that and a pair of tight fitting faded blue jeans with several holes here and there. A pair of beat up black sneakers and a studded belt around her waist is what would make up the young woman's attire, with only the white tape around her hands and knuckles being left to look at. The mark of a fighter, as hand to hand combatant of many sports tended to do this as sort of a brace. For Kira though, it was simply a warning, It wasn't as if much of Kira's attitude toward Empowered had changed since she finding out she was indeed one. after all years of that sort of thinking is certainly hard to shake away.
With her feet pulled in close to her, and her arms resting upon the tops of her knees, leaving her hands suspended into the air whilst her head rested back against those black bars. Kira's eyes could be find aimlessly looking around the campus, looking at some of the other students with a look of contempt, those old feelings of hatred still there upon her face, they were just also directed at herself now as well. With a sigh she would slowly bring her head forward and without much regard swing it back lightly, allowing the back of her head to just as lightly hit the bars of the fence, causing them to shake slightly and a low, and nearly inaudible sound to ring out from them. She was the black sheep of the academy, a misfit, or at least that's how she saw it. Unable to accept what she was, unable to like it. The only hing she knew to do now was to fight, to fight those humans who turned their back on her, to continue to fight the empowered, it was humbling thought which crossed her mind, she was truly alone in this world.
