Picture Katerina has long red hair that reaches to a little under her mid back and her bangs fall into her eyes depending on how she has it styled or just normally falls on her forehead. She usually just wears it down with her bangs falling onto her forehead but will wear it in pony tail with her bangs falling into her face over her right eye. If she needs to dress up then she will curl her hair a bit then wear it up in a bun and she has brown eyes. She has kept up with a training regimen for most of her life so she has a well-trimmed body with a lean but an athletic body, which makes her agile as well. She is rather tall but she is way past her growing days so she will always remain at 5'11" and she weighs about 146 lbs. Her chest is probably at most DDs and not that hard to miss at all. She has several battle scars on her body from the fights that she has been in and a lot of them can be seen if she wears certain clothing. She is not the type of person that would wear make-up but if she does it’s for special occasions.

If she does have to dress up then she wears a short pencil skirt of any color with a usually white button up shirt and a jacket that matches the skirt over top. Nothing too fancy unless it is absolutely necessary and it’s usually a short black dress. As for shoes she normally wears combat boots or really comfy tennis shoes of her liking.

PERSONALITY
Katerina may appear to be a little intimidating at first but one simply has to get to know her. It is just her appearance that makes her look to be someone who would tear you apart. She would never dream of doing that to someone, however, and she tries her best to make this clear to people she meets for the first time. She seems to give that impression to a lot of people and doesn't like that about herself. She likes to blame it on her being Russian and that the scowl is like a permanent feature as if it has been frozen on her face.
Kat is usually a pretty quiet person unless she has a reason to talk. She has learned from a young age as well as a result from her training to not speak her mind as she pleases. She can't seem to break this habit and hates this about herself very much. With this drilled into her so harshly, she finds it very difficult to express herself freely because of this as well. She has tried to break this habit several times but no matter how hard she tries or how long she has been trying it won't change anything.
The red head is tough and the scowl that is almost always on her face seems to prove this. She has been through a lot of things in her life and she has gotten thick skin as a result. This doesn't mean she's mean or incapable of any emotions. No this just means that she has some walls that need to be knocked down before she can be committed to something wholeheartedly. She has no problem of putting on a brave face and marching her way through something difficult without so much as a flinch.
Katerina doesn't have many chances to show this other kind side of her because she's too busy being tough. She has a weakness in children and has a natural mothering nature that comes out when she is around them. She loves children and wishes she could have a few of her own but she has yet to meet someone worth committing to and settling down with to have them. For now she just takes care of the girl she adopted and her students, she treats them just as if they were her own children and that includes being stern with them as well. She may be kind and have a mothering nature but she's just as stern with her daughter and her students as she would be if they were her blood children.

At the time she disliked it very much but as she developed skill within it she became a star in most fighting styles. The one she is best at is Systema, which is her home countries own martial art. From there she went on to learn other fighting styles to broaden her fighting style and as a result from Systema she received fire arms training as well.
+ Marksmanship - Katerina first learned to fire a gun when she was learning Systema in mother Russia. At first she disliked guns because they were loud and the recoil was rather annoying to her. She has gotten over this though as she has fired quite a lot of guns in her life. She is a good shot with a gun and can hit a moving target from pretty far away without a problem.
+ First Aid - Katerina also learned first aid while she was training because she had to treat herself when she got hurt. She has read plenty of books on different types of things to do as a result of something and knows pretty much anything about it if one was to ask her about it. The reason for this being her parents had very important jobs and they were always away to do their job. Her parents were both soldiers in the army and even though they had been in the army long before she was even born they wanted nothing but to protect her life.
Katerina’s mother stayed home for a time after her birth on maternity leave from the army so she could spend some time with her newborn baby as well as to get some rest. She returned back to the army and her post when her child was only 7 months old. From then on she was taken care of by a nanny who would tell email her parents about the things that she would do like her firsts. It was a shame that they couldn’t be there to watch over her themselves and watch her go to sleep at night. Her parents were upset having to leave her to be raised by her nanny like most rich kids were with parents that were rarely home.
Her safety was something that was taken into account even before she was born and made she that she knew that. As she grew older into her child years, her parents began to speak with her over Skype. To allow her to talk to them and tell them how she was doing. She was never without contact with them even if their post was not in their home city. No matter how much she wanted them to be home with her she never complained because she was happy enough to just be able to talk to them.
Katerina was 9 when her parents told her that they would be home to take care of her. Her mother had been promoted to a Captain and so she was being moved to a closer post at home as a result. She was so excited when they told her this that she started crying in joy and so when they showed up at home she run up to them to hug them. It took a while before her father finally decided to tell her that he was going to train her in fighting so that she’d be able to protect herself.
She wasn’t sure what to make of this decision but she gladly excepted as she would be having one on one lessons with her father. He decided to teach her Systema first of all the things because he knew it well as he was in Spetsnaz, or the Russian Special Purpose Regiment. He started with hand to hand combat and continued on from there leaving the weapon wielding parts for when she was a bit older also because of his wife. She had been taught the basics in Russian fist fighting and had been practicing since she was 7. At the time of learning it though she didn’t have much interest nor had she liked it very much but learning to fight from her father encouraged her greatly.
It didn’t take long for her to get good enough in her father’s eyes but that was because she had learned some hand to hand combat already. Her father kept her going though soon saying she would be going into the military once she graduated from High school. She wasn’t sure what to think about it but she kept her mouth shut as she had been drilled to do since she started working on her fighting skills. She knew better than to back talk and to keep her thoughts to herself because they were better in her mind than spoken. After she entered her teens, she began to balance school duties as she became the class president and working on the several fighting styles her father kept pushing her through one being Sambo.
Katerina discovered her ability to make clones of herself when she was just about to go into high school. She told her parents about this discovery and they decided to send to her off to the school in Italy where she could learn to use them. She still had to keep focusing on the combat lessons that her father wanted her to have while there. She went off to Italy to learn control of her powers. She stayed there until she was 18 having learned how to use her powers and to corporate it with her actual combat ability to join the military in her home country.
It was in her second year of high school that her mother had another child who was her younger sister Tatyana. She hoped that her mother would keep tight reigns on her second child so she would not end up like her as well. She didn’t want her younger sister to be forced to learn several fighting styles and be allowed to just grow up as a normal girl. She was 15 years younger than her older sister though and even if it meant opening her mouth about something that wasn’t her concern she’d speak up for her little sister if need be. She didn’t want what she had for her little sister nor would she ever wish this upon someone else either.
Katerina was told she was a wonderful fighter by people who knew her parents including an official that came to see her from her father’s branch of the military. She was forced to continue on with learning the hand to hand combat style of the special ops that her father was in and when she finally graduated from high school she went along with what her father had told her. Her mother was only encouraging her at this point and telling her that if she didn’t like the military then after a year she could retire to do what she wanted to. She didn’t realize that once she went into the military that she would actually like what she was doing. She didn’t see much fighting when she first went in but as the years passed she saw more bloodshed.
By the point that she had begun to see the bloodshed she was in her mid-twenties with the rank of captain in the Russian military and being recognized for her fighting prowess. She had gained permission from her higher ranked officials to go to a couple other countries to learn a few more fighting styles. She decided upon traveling to Japan to learn Karate and to Italy to learn Italian martial arts. While in both of those countries, she worked hard in both styles and caught on fairly easily from her previous fighting experience and gained at least basic knowledge on both. She studied in both countries for a half a year each and returned home a year after leaving.
Katerina went home to visit with her family and stay for a bit before going back to her complete military life. She liked the idea of spending time with her little sister and that her father had not cursed her with fighting like she had been. She didn’t really hate the idea of fighting now though as she too felt the reason why her parents were in the military. She wanted to be able to protect her little sister from the things and people who wanted to harm her home country. Her number of people she wanted to protect increased in her next year of serving for the military as she found herself traveling through a destroyed town in Russia.
This was the day that she found her daughter who had been put into hiding as her family and the town had been wiped out by enemies. She found her only by chance as she could hear the two year old at the time crying and yelling out mama and found her in a storm shelter. She smiled at the little girl and picked her up to take her somewhere other than here.
