Friends – Becoming friends with Carys requires a bit of patience and persistence. The girl is an introvert in the worst of ways and would rather stay inside reading and interacting with fictional characters in her mind than interact with real people out in the world. As long as you’re willing to consistently talk to her for a little while, you’ll eventually break down her walls. Just don’t be too pushy or excitable as making her nervous will probably land you in the nurse’s office with a migraine, not that she’ll have meant to hurt you, it just kinda happens. Her main fear is that she’ll accidentally hurt someone with her powers, hence why she makes herself scarce and tries to stay away from people in general. As long as you’re kind and a bit patient, she’ll come around slowly but surely. She’ll start to open up and smile a bit more. She’s a wonderful friend that will always be by your side and want nothing more than to make you happy. Befriending Carys also comes with the fact that she’ll probably be willing to cook for you and will also probably knit you scarves and mittens around Christmas time.
Foes – To be honest, making an enemy of Carys is pretty difficult. She’s too nice for her own good at times, and is highly impressionable. The best way to make Carys dislike you is to either take a dig at one of her friends or be way too overbearing with her. Being as loyal as she is, she will stick up for a friend who’s been insulted or bullied, but of course she will remain soft spoken as ever and not actually be likely to throw any punches. Perhaps just a migraine or a little memory lapse to make them go away for a few minutes. As for being overbearing, this will just put her off before you ever really get the chance to know her. Trying too hard with Carys in the form of constantly being pushy or overly exuberant in trying to befriend her will really only scare her off. She doesn’t like obnoxious people and won’t take kindly to that approach of getting to know you. Luckily, making an enemy of Carys likely will only result in her avoiding you altogether, nothing violent or anything like that. She’s not the fighting type anyway.
Romance – Good luck. No seriously, getting Carys to fall in love or notice that someone is in love with her is like trying to light a wet match in a dark cave. It’s possible, but it’ll take some creativity and a whole lot of patience. Befriends Carys alone is difficult, but that’s really the first step to getting her to love you. She’s not the sort of girl you can have a crush on from afar and then just ask her out one day. All that’ll do is scare her off what with her shyness and general fear of hurting people on accident. In addition, Carys probably won’t realize that she’s falling in love either. She’ll be friends with someone for a while, and then they’ll say or do something and then suddenly it’ll hit her that she loves this person. Of course then she’ll proceed to hide it from the world and hope that the love goes away. Carys is terrified of hurting those closest to her, and falling in love would only amp up that fear times ten. In addition, Carys is about the densest person on this earth. If you have a crush on her, she very likely has no idea. Dropping hints or anything like that really isn’t going to work; she’ll just think you’re acting strange for no real reason.
